Great …..I’m not much of a tweet ( X ) person but I look forward to seeing your musical choices. I’ve always felt you can learn most about someone through their music. Everyone always has hidden music choices. I’ll comeback to yours with mine.

I've been thinking about this a lot, especially in conjunction with Haidt’s characterization of our intellect as the “defense attorney” for our unitary mind/body. So much of politics is coming up with rigorous sounding explanations that are mostly apologia for the explainer’s feelings. And ironically, now, so much of politics is people mind reading and thinking they know the “real reason” that others hold the positions they do.

Maybe if people were more honest and just said “I feel this way, and this is the evidence that I've gathered that suggests that intuition is right” rather than “people who don't agree with me want to destroy society” things would be a little less crazy.

You have a recurring theme to your writings. Obviously they interest me as I comment often. I would love to hear about the music that has captured you through your years. So much could be learned.

I agree we could have ended up flipped on the vaccine thing. I alluded to that in my article on the left's complicated relationship with medicine.
