Glad you liked it! There’s plenty of other things I could have gotten into - top surgery and phalloplasty scars as stigmata, transubstantiation, Jesus and eunuchs - but this was long enough as is. Another thing to note is that while I mostly use “Christian” as a general term in this piece, the symbolism I discuss trends Catholic, while the religious aspects of CSJ seem more obviously inherited through Protestant thought.
